Our partner church, Grace Christian Fellowship (Pastor Jonathan Wilson) coordinates disaster relief efforts among churches in Japan. All funds (100%) donated to Horizon Central and designated for CRASH go directly to Japan for help with their relief efforts. CRASH has helped in many disasters as in China or Haiti. … How great it would be if we could help them now with their own domestic situation.
Again, donations may be made to Horizon Central, but please clearly designate them for CRASH to be sure that we forward them to the Tohoku relief efforts.

All of us are interested in what we can do for the people of Haiti right now. While the options are many, one that may interest you is the partnership between Indianapolis Colts Wide Receiver Pierre Garcon with Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, a ministry that has been working in Haiti for many years. Pierre was involved with NWHCM prior to the earthquake and already had a trip planned to go to Haiti in April. All of this has become a lot more relevant as a result of the scope of the recent tragedy. Click on Pierre’s picture to visit his website and on the NWHCM logo to visit theirs.
As the book of Acts comes to a close, we see Paul the Apostle arriving in Rome and carrying out an effective ministry there – while chained to a Roman soldier. The point is this: Jesus said his followers would receive power to be His witnesses. He didn’t say that would always be easy.
