Church Announcements: 4/23/17
Here are this week’s church announcements and weekly prayer requests:
LAWN CARE: The church is in need of someone to help with mowing the lawns and fields around the property on a regular basis. See Jesse if you’re interested in helping.
COMMUNITY GARDEN: There are two spots available in our community garden near the Barth Ave. entrance. See Miss Dorene for details.
PROJECT LOVE: There are a few opportunities to volunteer in the Clothing Ministry of Project Love during the week.
Wednesdays 6:30p-8:30p (see Ginger) & Tuesdays 9:30a – 12:00p (see Sherri).
Sunday, April 30 12:00p – 2:00p, Project Love volunteers will be going down several streets in our neighborhood passing out flyers, discussing our Project love programs, and inviting them to worship with us. Lunch will be provided. See Julie for more info. If interested, sign your name on the Sign-Up sheet on the front Kiosk.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS: Join us on Wednesday nights for our Make Disciples Bible Study. Study is between 7:00p – 8:30p in the Basement Café with Kids Church for the younger kids in the Gym. The last study will be on May 17 and then we’ll take a break for the summer season. See Pastor Dave or Dan for more info.
WOMEN: The next Women’s monthly Fellowship study is Saturday, May 27, between 9:30a – 11:00a in Room 8. Topic is on the spiritual gifts of Evangelism / Discernment.
The Men’s Advance: Men’s weekend fellowship event on May 5 -7 in Buchanan, MI. The cost is $113 (for sleeping in tents) and $140 (for cabins). Register NOW online at www.TheMensAdvance.com
MEN: Next Men’s Breakfast will be on Saturday, June 3 at 7:30a – 9:00a, in the Basement Café near the Barth Ave. entrance.
Project Love April Prayer requests:

23rd – Pray that Project Love have a successful distribution of food today.
24th – Pray for a replenishment of the food on the shelves of Project Love.
25th – Pray for all food pantries in Indianapolis and surrounding areas that they be able to serve all in need.
27th – Pray for all food banks including Midwest Food Bank, Gleaners, and St. and Wheeler Mission that their stock be in abundance for all served.
28th – Pray for all Syrian Refugees served by Project Love that they acclimate to this country and Project Love be able to provide these families adequate food.
29th – Pray for the Leadership of Horizon Central.
30th – Pray for the Marshall Family, faithful volunteers of Project Love
