This Week’s Passage: Hebrews 2

Wednesday Evening Activities:  6:30-8:30pm

-       AWANA for kids, Bible memorization, fun and games

-       The Public Reading of Scripture – interactive overview of the Bible.  This week we will begin 1 Samuel.

 

The Most Excellent Way:     We are trying to develop a team of people to commit to this substance-abuse ministry.  Prior addiction not required..  Talk to Barry Atwell for more info.

 

Men’s Breakfast Saturday:     This Saturday, February 4, from 7:30-9:00am – in the blue café on the other end of the building.  This month’s topic from the book The Measure of a Man is:  Making God’s Truth Attractive

 

Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts:     The Indianapolis Regional HQ of the Boy Scouts is looking to help get something started in this area.  The last program they had dissolved after it was left homeless.  If you are interested in doing this sort of thing at Horizon Central talk to Dan Kane or Dave K for more information.

 

Email and Web Communication Ministry It would be nice to have an active e-prayer ministry and/or Facebook page going once again for small group or church-wide announcements.  If you are interested in help restart such a ministry, please talk to Dave K.

 

Bottles for Babies Table:     Help Life centers in their mission to reach women one heart at a time to encourage them to choose life for their babies by taking a bottle and filling it with change.

 

Forgiven and Set Free a Bible Study:     For women who have experienced the pain of abortion will begin Monday March 5^th at 6pm in the Cry Room.
